Rainbow ha moltissimi progetti per questo 2010.

Ecco l'articolo:

Rainbow SpA has been indelibly linked with its international hit Winx Club, one of the most successful 4–12 year old girl properties of all time. But, although there are constant new developments in the realm of the world’s trendiest fairies – there are many other projects shaping Rainbow’s future as well.

This year in particular will mark the fruition of several groundbreaking new developments such as the launch of the first two 3D theatrical features ever produced in Italy using stereoscopic technology, entirely in Rainbow’s own studios.

Even more momentous is the creation of the Magic Rainbowland Theme Park outside of Rome. In addition to these highly significant events, 2010, which sees Rainbow celebrate its 15th anniversary, will see a brand new European Winx on Ice Show, the international TV debut of PopPixie and its Bandai Toy launch, the development of a Fifth Winx Club series, new TV sales, toys and products lines for Huntik season 2, and further publishing and licensing deals for the teen goth property Maya Fox.

There has even been room for more geographic expansion of Rainbow’s reach: Winx Club has conquered the highly challenging Russian market and will be entering China by year’s end. 2010 promises to be a busy year for Rainbow. They will launch Gladiator Academy (working title), a 3D theatrical feature film. Iginio Straffi, Chairman of Rainbow, was invited to discuss this film with a panel of international filmmakers at the 2010 Kidscreen Summit in NY, alongside Starz Animation, Frederator and the Oscar-nominated Cartoon Saloon.

In addition, the second Winx Club Feature The Magic is Back (working title) (also in 3D) will be launched in Italy in October, followed by premieres in Russia and Portugal, and all other major European territories in 2011. The first film, The Secret of The Lost Kingdom, (2007) achieved $8 million at the Italian Box Office. The home video of the film will be released at Christmas 2010 in Italy and in Fall 2011 in Europe.

Finally, a 2010 pan-European Winx on Ice tour is planned featuring a unique event in Italy at the world famous Verona Amphitheatre, which will be turned into an ice palace for the show. The live shows have grossed over €7.7 million in Italy to date.
